In the northeast coast of Ireland is a landscape that is known as The Giant’s Causeway.The place is so great, that it is said to be formed by “supernatural forces”. Legend has it that two giants, one Irish and one Scottish, always at odds, threw stones together without ceasing. This led to the formation of a field of stones on the sea.

Hanging bridge Carrick-a-Rede is one of the main attractions of the coast of Northern Ireland.

Also worth a visit is the Castle Coole.

Marble Arch Caves is over 6 km of mazes and corridors full of phenomenal forms of stalactites and stalagmites. Really worth a visit.

It's only a few places that are truly remarkable. In fact, there are countless and they are all wonderful.

What is worth to know ...

The UK has some of the details that are sure to stand out from other countries. I'll try to mention a few.

  • Tea is drunk with milk.
  • In Wales, the lives of 3 million people and 11 million sheep.
  • The British are disciplined and lining up on the bus, the input queue is beyond unimaginable.
  • Snow falls very rare in Great Britain.
  • United Kingdom doesn't have a written constitution! It is the only country in Europe.
  • The English do not kiss in greeting, shaking hands. Often, however, they do not serve at all.
  • Bells on the front door are indeed known, but still are very popular knockers that should knock when needed.
  • The British Christmas preparations begin in mid-November when buying gifts your loved ones. In London's Trafalgar Square, people gather around a large Christmas tree, which since World War II is a traditional gift of Norway. During the holidays, there are choirs from all over the world, singing Christmas carols.
  • I do not care here Christmas Eve and Christmas meal eaten on December 25, about five in the afternoon. The family and friends come to the table, which is dominated by turkey stuffed with chestnuts.For dessert administered Christmas Pudding and cake with nuts and raisins.

The most beautiful places in Wales...

Wales territory is not large. However, despite this its area was built over four locks. The most impressive fortresses are erected decision of King Edward I, forming the so-called 'Iron Ring'.


The capital of Wales-Cardiff is also famous for its wonderful sights. The main monument of the city is Cardiff Castle. Other interesting places are: Llandaff Cathedral, Castle Coch, as well as numerous museums and art galleries. The city is also a lot of green areas and parks. One of them is Bute Park.

The most beautiful places in Scotland...

  Definitely a place worth visiting in Scotland's is Loch Ness. Popularity is due in particular monster called 'Nessie', which allegedly has inhabited its depths. Loch Ness is the most famous lake in Scotland.

Scotland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom.

Scotland occupies the northern part of the island of Great Britain. In the south of the previously described my England. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh, it's largest city is Glasgow.Scotland is famous primarily known for the world famous Loch Ness.
